This album had a lot of commercial successes but also has some hidden gems. One of the most attractive things about Phil's music is the way he lays his heart and soul on the line in his lyrics... "I Wish It Would Rain", "Find A Way To My Heart" and "All Of My Life" are some of his most revealing songs. "Father To Son" is exquisitely sweet and personal. As with all his music, the tunes are beautiful and the arrangements dynamic. This album is his best in terms of the number of exceptionally good songs.
