Phil Collins

Dance Into The Light

Overlooked album!

Review Score: StarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStar (10/10)
When I first listened to the album, I thought it was a very varied album, with very few or none songs of hit potential. I have listened to it over and over again and I have to say it's among Phil's best albums. I can't say which songs are the best on this album, which is a quality sign (if the album is worth listening too). Some days I like songs like: "Love police", "The same moon", "That's what you said". At other times it's songs like: "Wear my hat", "Oughta know by now" and "Just another story" i like listening to. There are very few weak spots, but in my opinion the weakest songs on this album are: "River so wide", "Times are a-changin" and "No matter who". Overall this pop album is excellent quality, uptempo, varied and with very positive songs, which will never never produce hits like "Another day in paradise". But who gives a s... when the quality is so high all around and it's songs you can listen to for ages.
