How bad it should have been to sit hidden behind the drums while front man Peter Gabriel clowned around in his daisy-flowerish costumes, only Collins knows. Because this guy had -still has- more talent than all of his Genesis bandmates together, and yet it took so long for people to recognize it. Face Value is a great debut, wonderful music which is not afraid to be commercial. The way it should be.
