Long live rock, and long live Phil

I'm a man with simple tastes, and someone who knows what he likes. But I do have some very definite and strong opinions. So strong, in fact, that my friends have nicknames for me, like "Music Maestro", "Master of Music", "Music Master", and "He Who Always Seems to be Right in the Ways of Music". They tease me and encourage me to enter the reviewing field, but I'm content to be an Amazon wizard!

I'm sure you're wondering why I went to that much trouble to explain myself - well, it's just to say that I know what I like, and I like the good stuff. And when I'm looking for the best of the best, I turn to Phil.

Phil has been rocking my world for almost thirty years now, and I have to say I'm constantly surprised and challenged by what he's doing. This hits collection shows the best of his best, and it's simply one "wow" track after another. "Ssssudio"? Perfection. "One More Night"? Could go on for 40 more nights, as far as I'm concerned. "Two Hearts"? A masterpiece. "In the Air Tonight?" I don't really care for this song.

All I have to say is if you like hard rock, this is the place to start. You'll be hooked from the start, much like I am today. I only wish the collection's compilers had seen fit to include "One Night In Bangkok", one of Phil's biggest hits.

But why argue with perfection?
