This is a great collection of 80's music. In the 80's Phil Collins could do no wrong. He was everyehere and helped to define the era. This collection is a terrifc collection of his greatest hits, some lesser hits and a new song. A remake of Cyndi Laupers 'True Colors' is the new song but it's just filler to me. Cyndi's version is much better and I bought this collection for his older material not new. But it's only one track and easily skipped over. One major hit isn't included, 'Don't Forget My Number'. Why it was passed over I do't know, but it's presence is missed. The tracks aren't presented in chronological order and there are no notations of chart rankings, which I always appreciate on a greatest hits CD.
But none of that (except the missing hit) hampers my enjoyment of this collection. Each of the songs on this CD take me back to a different time in my childhood. Remembering family events, times with friends, times spent alone. If you grew up in the 80's and liked Phil Collins (and most of us did) you really shouldn't deny yourself this wonderful trip down memory lane.
