Much deeper than what people thinks
Review Score:

(8/10)
It's a great album.
I'm sure it's not one of the best Floyd albums, but is sure much deeper than what some people think. It's musically deeper than The Final Cut, for sure.
The lyrics are great in almost all songs (like Sorrow, On The Turning Away or Yet Another Movie).
I think it was a great way to put Pink Floyd into the 80's sound. I Hate the 80's! but this is one of the few 80's albums that i really like.
The first time i listened to it i was fascinated, i loved this album from the first time.
The best songs:
Dogs Of War: great strong and dark blues, with an amazing guitar solo, a wonderful saxo solo and a great drum part (with a wonderfully heavy drum sound).
On the Turning Away: I think DG sings its best in this song. Great Lyrics, melody and music. The ending guitar solo... it's just amazing, perfect.
Yet Another Movie: A great song, with a wonderful atmosphere and a mind breaking guitar solo.
Terminal Frost: Wonderfull instrumental song, a great combo of Guitar and Saxo. I really love this song.
Sorrow: well... maybe one of the best floyd songs ever. The Lyrics are just fantastic and really deep. This song has a great sound and a brilliant drum part. The Ending guitar solo... i can say it's one of the greatest solos i've heard in my life,
DG plays a heavy brilliant solo, full of feelings and great ideas. He shows why he is considered one of the best guitarists(the best, in my opinion) .
Give this album a chance. Don't let Waters' fans take you to the wrong side. Listen to it, pay atention carefully to this album, because it has a lot to say if you listen to it without previous ideas about it in your head.
