Pink Floyd

A Momentary Lapse Of Reason

Actually not that bad

Review Score: StarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStar (8/10)
Besides "Ummagumma" and "The Final Cut," this is probably the most disrespected album that Pink Floyd ever produced. The critics hated it because Roger Waters left, and Floyd were trying to figure out how to continue without sounding empty (like they had to completely reinvent themselves after Syd Barret descended into hallucinations and living like a hermit). Occasionally, this album sounds tragically 80's, but what can you do? There are, however, really great songs on this album, such as Learning to Fly, Dogs of War (am I the only one who likes that song?), One Slip, On the Turning Away, and one of the top ten Floyd songs of all time, Sorrow. That song alone is worth the price of the CD. But that's just my opinion. Buy it yourself and see what you think.
