i am not a pink floyd expert, which i feel allows me to write a review that is impartial and unbiased. i dont give a flying monkey who was in the band when what album was made. my overall opinion of this one is that it is a decent cd, not good or bad. I like it for "on the turning away" which i greatly enjoy, as well as the funky "a new machine, Part I and II". the rest of the cd is indifferent, i feel that some of the introductions are pretty long and boring and some others are weird in a negative way. i borrowed this cd from a friend, and personally would not purchase it.
