One might wonders if that's any good, and without a doubt i can tell you it's not only good it's fantastic. Helped by the amazing production of Bob Ezrin, Gilmour, Mason and Wright made another great crowd - pleaser.
Maybe "AMLOR" has just a bit too much influence from the eighties than it should, but none the less, it gives this album a lot of charm, the way a PF could never sound with Waters. A lot of people didn't like that, but a don't give a damn about it. This was the album i played over and over for weeks when i first got it. Just listen to "Learning To Fly" (a true Pink Floyd anthem), "One Slip", "On The Turning Away", that has one of Gilmour's best guitar solos & "Terminal Frost", the best Floydian instrumental ever. Listening to "Yet Another Movie" & "Sorrow", the two best songs that have Gilmour's best lyrics will give you chills and i guarantee will make you love this masterpiece. Highly recommended!
