Not the best, but also not held down by Waters.
Review Score:

(8/10)
I have been a Pink FLoyd fan for over 20 years and still can't understand why Floyd fans can't respect this album.
Finally after 20 years, Pink Floyd continues on without Roger Waters at the helm. Since the addition of Gilmour I believe Pink Floyd became complete. Syd was good, but not great. Gilmour completed this band. Obviously Waters must have been afraid of Gilmours greatness and pretty much took over all the lyric writing after the Dark Side era, eventually taking over on The Wall. Don't get me wrong, I love Waters and all he contributed. But I find him selfish as well and should have let the band contribute more in the late 70's.
Floyd fan knock Gilmours efforts to move on and continue with the great Pink Floyd image and awesome concerts. AMLOR showed me an excellant push forward from the stubborn Waters who just wanted to take full control and use Gilmours excellence in his guitar greatness, pretty much taking all the credit.
Learning To Fly is very moving and Floydish. One Slip, On The Turning Away, and Sorrow complete this excellent effort Gilmour, Wright, and Mason bring to its fans.
I only wish Waters would have considered getting over his past problems and became a band with his fellow members and moved on. They easily had 10 more years of greatness. But he didn't, and the 3 remaining members moved on and showed us they could put on one hell of a show. And they did!
