This CD set is a real treasure to all people who have taken an interest, no matter what size,in Pink Floyd. For the newer fans out there, there is something for everyone: great hits that sound familiar (I know the first song I skipped right to when I got this was Another Brick in the Wall Pt 2), and samples of earlier works, (songs like One of these Days and Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun). The booklet tells which albums each song came from- I built my Floyd CD collection mostly based on the booklet/insert. For the older fans, this has a couple of rare singles that really aren't found anywhere else, except Relics, such as See Emily Play, Arnold Layne, and When The Tigers Broke Free. In the true Floyd tradition, the songs are rearranged in a beautiful way- each song segues right into the other perfectly. If you don't know what I am talking about- listen to Marooned and the Great Gig in the Sky together- the two songs sound like they are meant to be together, though they came from two diffrent albums. I am happy with the selection of songs that are included- almost every CD they have made is represented- even The Final Cut. I am especially grateful for the inclusion of both Echoes and Shine On, even if they were edited. Everyone and anyone who is interested in this band should check this CD out- you won't regret it.
