If ever there was a "Best of" that was gonna leave people feeling unsatisfied, this is it. Sure, I can think of another 10 essential tracks that are missing, and I'm not even a fanatic. Like any collection though, this is going to cater to someone just getting into "Pink Floyd", or that person who just needs one offering from them. Die-hards will most likely think more about what's missing, than what's present. One thing for sure is that everything on "Echoes" is good/excellent stuff. I personally enjoy the later (Gilmour) years more than the early (Barrett) years, with neither being as good as the middle (Waters-Gilmour) years. Bottom line is that this is probably as good as 2 discs could have been, and is a fine package of their "best" stuff. Of course if I had to suggest one more thing, it would be to just get "The Wall" instead.
