I confess I was quite disappointed to see this cd come out, because there is no way on earth to compile the best of Pink Floyd on two cds, simply because everything they did until Roger's departure is awesome.

While it's a somewhat decent compilation, I won't get it since I already own the Floyd material I like. The only song I don't have is When The Tigers Broke Free.

The tracks included should have been chronologically sequenced - instead of it we have them all over the place. Waters has publicly disowned this compilation, since he almost had no input on it. And I agree with those who claim there are far too many songs from Momentary Lapse of Reason. Learning To Fly is one of their more easy-listening tunes, yet it's featured on Echoes, to the detriment of jewels like A Pillow of Winds, Summer of '68 or Cymbaline, to name a few. The inclusion of Bike is another flaw, since it's quite a disturbing song and not the best Syd wrote. We'd have thanked to have Lucifer Sam instead.

Why is there nothing from Atom Heart Mother, More or Obscured by Clouds? And what about the absense of classic songs like Careful With That Axe, Eugene?

True that Sheep might have been left out to give way to Dogs, that is better in my opinion.

But fortunately not all is complaints. At least those who only know the catchiest Floyd period (That beginning in 1973) have the chance to listen to gems like Astronomy Domine, See Emily Play or Echoes.
