Just scratching the surface

I never thought it was possible to pick apart such albums as Dark Side or Wish You Were Here and come up with a best of Pink Floyd album, but I guess this is the best anyone could do. If you have the money, please, do yourself a favor and go out and get every album that contributes a song to this compilation. Yes, these are the best songs of Pink Floyd's career, but all of their albums have to be enjoyed in their entirety. But nonetheless, if you want a great introduction to the Pink Floyd catalogue, this is it. It can introduce you to the Syd era if you should choose that era, the Roger Waters era, or even the David Gilmour era. I give this my highest recommendation.
