Without Direction and Vision

Dave Gilmour & friends released another album under the banner of Pink Floyd and it is void of any sense of drama and theater, lyrical genius, direction, and plot. There is none on Division Bell. The label of 'Art Rock' doesn't apply here. What we have is an album loaded with songs which have no common theme. This once great band now sounds like every other band that has been around a long time...bland, boring, and just plain dull....and very wealthy.
