When I first heard this album I was shocked and aghast at what Floyd appeared to have become after the departure of Waters.
But a few more hearings left me pleasantly surprised . And today I am prepared to put it among their very best albums , second to only The Wall . There is no track on the album that is even remotely weak .
The album though , is clearly a depature from Floyd's earlier style .
