Pink Floyd got back on track.....

Review Score: StarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStar (10/10)
This album is a true "group" attempt to get back to what Pink Floyd was before Roger Waters almost destroyed them. After Waters' self-serving "The Wall" album and an equally depressing "Final Cut", it was refreshing to see David Gilmour and Richard Wright get together and produce music which is "Pink Floyd". Although I liked "A Momentary Lapse of Reason" it was still missing an element --> the musicianship and keyboard playing of Richard Wright, who came in halfway through the album.

It was good to see Richard Wright come back and place his stamp on "Pink Floyd". The haunting sounds of 'Cluster One' and 'Marooned' are phenomenal. It reminds me of his great contributions to the "Meddle", "WYWH" and of course "DSOFM". David Gilmour makes a much better attempt to write songs that sound more like "Pink Floyd" rather than "David Gilmour", which is what happened in the AMLOR album.

If this is Pink Floyd's final studio album, then the final song "High Hopes" is the perfect farewell song for all Floyd fans. This song is the icing of a very well baked cake that David Gilmour and Richard Wright made.

Thank you David, Richard and Nick.
