Pink Floyd

The Division Bell

The Best of the Remaining Three

Review Score: StarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStar (10/10)
Obviously after the departure of Roger Waters and Syd Barret (long ago), it would seem that Pink Floyd would not last long. Wrong idea. Not a solo album of Gilmour's but a compilation from Wright, Gilmour, and Mason, Division Bell looks back on life in a Floydian-style and has almost a philisophical meaning in it the whole time.
If you've ever thought you heard words in Joe Walch's guitar in "Rocky Mountain Way" or "Those Shoes" you'll hear what Gilmour's 'says' in Division Bell. While a man slips out of consciousness in "Keep Talking", all that is left is Gimour's guitar speaking for him.
I would look to see who the producers are (probably Gilmour and the rest of the trio) but I don't know where my case is, but anyway, the producers should get an award for this album.
