What would be the last, turned into the best
Review Score:

(10/10)
The Division Bell, a last attempt by Post-Pink Floyd did not earn what it should. You cant really compare Post Pink Floyd to the original, as Roger Waters is missing. Its like comparing ELO to ELO II. However, After a slightly uneven, but still good Momentary Lapse of Reason, the three heroes released this one. And what a cd it is. Division Bell contains a much less experimental music than Lapse, but more solid music, almost to a point that is clear they wont try to break any barriers.
No matter what, this is what the third generation PF should sound like.
Major highlights on this album is the beautiful "Coming back to Life", "Wearing the inside out", "What do you want from me", "Take it back", "Marooned" and "High Hopes". These songs are wonderful songs, unlike anything else you have heard. The rest of the songs are still very, very good, and there is no real fillers here.
Too bad this was Pink Floyds last album, as this showed a sign of a group finding their way. It may be the last Pink Floyd album, but it is up on the top, and since this is without Roger Waters, I range this as one of the best too.
I love this album, it is the PF I listen the most too. That says a lot.
