I'm not gonna go off on a tangent about the history of Pink Floyd and Syd Barrett's exit from the music world since this is old news to all of you I'm sure. What I will say is this is one of my favorite Pink Floyd albums. Threw in the disc this morning after not listening to it for a few months and it still sounds amazing. There really will never be anything that matches this bizzare masterpiece. From the opening piece that starts off sounding like morse code (Astronomy Domine) to the fairytale goth-like numbers, you'll be entertained throughout. File this under psychadelia/classic rock/blotter jams. Highly recommended.
