This album is a testament to the genuis Syd Barrett could display. This recording is a masterpiece of some of the best psychedelic rock ever! The man truly was an artistic visionary and had so much potential that was so wasted. All the songs here are first class "art" pop rock. From the brilliant riffs in "Interstellar Overdrive" to the excellent and the deliciously quircky ending of "Bike" this album symply excels at every turn. This album was all the rage back in the psychedelic year of '67 and it is still no wonder as to why, this is highly reccomended!!
