First off, its a shame that this CD was your introduction to Pink Floyd. I gave this CD a three star rating because even as a hard-core Pink Floyd fan, the music on this offering is not typical Pink Floyd.
If you (A.M.) happen to read this review, and for anyone else who comes across it that may not be familure with Pink Floyd, do yourself a favor and buy either "Animals" or "Wish You Were Here" from Pink Floyd. If, after listening to one, or both of those CD's you still have a unfavorable opinion about Pink Floyd, then you can say that "they're just another mediocre, overrated band", but you'll be wrong...and chances are those words wont come to mind after hearing either of the aforementioned CD's.
