Great Album from a Great Band

If Kid Rock released "Shut Up, Make Love" tomorrow, radio and MTV would be all over it. Sad, but true. But who needs 'em? Actually, I have been hearing Poison more and more on the rock station here in town. Anyway, this is a great rock album. It's different, yet still Poison. The album is looser with a tongue-in-cheek vibe to it. Best tracks: Shut Up Make Love, Be the One, Baby Gets Around a Bit, Tragically Unhip, Sexual Thing, and No Ring No Gets. The whole album rocks...great to hear the "old" track Face the Hangman from the Open Up sessions...you can definitely tell the sound is from that era...may be why I like it so much. Kinda reminds me of Back to the Rocking Horse. Anyway, the critics have always hated Poison...which is more reason to like them. Can't wait for the new album in June and another great summer tour! I just wish they'd add more southeastern dates!
