In Some Ways, A Real Landmark
Review Score:

(6/10)
Actually, I give this record 3 1/2 stars. I am not really a Poison fan, but I liked "Flesh and Blood" quite a bit. It lacks the complex song writing and carefully organized music that I normally listen to, but the scope for complaint on "Flesh and Blood" is very limited. The songs are simple, but well done; the intensity is there, but not hammed up; the songs vary between gentle, moderate, and hard, but they flow nicely. I call this record a landmark because it has several admirable traits. (1)There is sufficient energy to please the hard rock fan, but the music is not all effects with no organization. (2) There is SOME swearing, but the music is not written for the sake of swearing. (3) The record is carefully organized in the placement of light, moderate, and hard tracks. Even though I am not a Poison fan, I highly suggest this record.
