A mixed bag of good stuff.

For the most part, every album by The Police was diverse in one way or another. This one is no different, containing a couple of radio "hits", some that border on rock and roll, and some that are brooding and philosophical. One that received radio play and has the usual Sting political bent is "Spirits in the Material World". The other, "Every Little Thing She Does is Magic", is typical feel-good radio fluff but is still a quality tune. "Invisible Sun", "Secret Journey", and "Darkness" are all on the dark and brooding side. Two of my personal favorites, "Hungry for You" and "Too Much Information" are both up tempo. Just try to keep from toe-tappin' on the former, which, curiously is mostly in French. "Omegaman" and "One World" are a little week but overall this is quality stuff.
