Somehow, Both Dark and Brilliant

Note for note, this is the best Police album. From the first bars of "Sprits in the Material World" (which had this reviewer, and other fellow eighth graders at the time, starting to think politically like no other band could have done)all the way to "Darkness", this is lyrically and musically a work of sheer brilliance. And if music gets any more transcendent than "Omegaman" and "Secret Journey", I don't want to know about it!
