When the Police were at their peak--Great album!

I still like this album, even if I waited a few years to get it. This is some very well done pop! Every Breath You Take, still a classic. Synchronicity II--very high charged rock with dramatic shifts and up and down hill landscapes. Sting does it live on his tour now! Wrapped Around Your Finger (which I didn't like the radio version, only the album version of 5:12) and its funky-meets-moody feel, and King of Pain's reflective but rocking and rumbling guitars playing. But other songs on the album I like are Tea in the Sahara and Gradenko. Sting can write some of the most intelligent lyrics and it just fits in with the music. This was really the Police at their highest creative peak--they couldn't get any higher than this, so they broke up quietly. One of the '80s best albums!
