On Fire at the Bowl (Live)

Second best Queen live album

Review Score: StarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStarStar (8/10)
On Fire at the Bowl is the second best Queen live album, just behind Live at Wembley Stadium and just ahead of Live Killers. The best tracks in this album are Play the Game, Somebody to Love, Tie Your Mother Down and Action This Day. It was nice to hear some of the older Queen songs played live.

The songs from Hot Space in this album sound much better than the awful studio verisons. Action This Day was probably the best one, sounding real hard and almost like a typical Queen song. It probably could have done without the synthesizer solo, which seemed to be filler. Staying Power sounded pretty good too; that quick guitar beat is quite catchy. Under Pressure, the classic track from Hot Space, sounded pretty good, but not as good as the studio version. Back Chat was the one exception, as it just didn't sound that great at all.
