There are a handful of bands you have to like to go to my youth group. I'm serious. It has to be written in the rules or something, because every single person but me listened to Relient K. And I finally got sick of it, and one of my friends lent me this CD for a few days, then decided she couldn't live without it and needed it back.
I was like, "Okay."
I had listened to it once, liked the song Forward Motion but it was pop punk. I was not into pop punk.
But all my friends liked them and they were one of the only Christian bands I knew so I'd be like, "Ohhh, put Relient K in!" whenever we listened to music. A few weekends ago, I went to Six Flags with some friends to see them live. We waited three hours to get good seats, and we ended up in the second row.
I was like, "Cool."
They were okay. So I got a friend of mine to burn me a CD so I'd know more of the songs because I might see them again this summer.
Se burned me this CD, and I've been listening to it. And I've really enjoied some songs such as Mood Rings, Getting Into You, In Love With the 80's, and Chapstick and Chapped Lips and Things Like Chemistry.

So, it's okay. It really is. But I laugh when people say they're the best band ever. They're not. They're not even in the top hundred.

But they are a good band, and the CD is worth your money if you've never heard Relient K before if you're into pop punk. If not, just get someone to burn it for you.

I lent this CD to my little sister, and I laughed at her because she hates "god rock." She told me, "I don't hear any Christian songs on this CD. This isn't a Christian band." Because, for a Christian band, they had maybe four God songs on this one? I don't know; it just kind of made me go hunh.

They're about 3 1/2 stars.
