Matt Thiesson, Matt Hoopes, Dave Douglas, and Brian Pittman have easily put together one of the catchiest records of all time. I love this cd. Their music is like this: a dose of the beachboys harmonies, the drumming skill of travis barker (dave douglas is awesome), awesome guitar players, and lyrics that will make you think or just make you laugh. It's great stuff. Their love for God instantly shines through, and their positivity and brightness are explosive. But even though it's probably going to get stuck in your head and make you want to sing along, it also has a deeper side to it, from the last lines of 'Jefferson Airplane', Matt Thiesson explains, "I have with me all that i need...". They look back on life in the 80's and his brothers obsession with Tears for Fears in "In Love with The 80's", then make you laugh with songs like "Mood Rings", which is a highly promising system, yet leaves you touched with songs like "I'm getting Into You".
This Cd is definitely their best if your into pop-punk. Their first was easily the rawest, their second easily one of the most thoughtful, and this one easily the catchiest and best produced yet....check this out....it's worth your time...
