This album is GREAT! I was definitely impressed with this band, not only for the music but for the content and even the pictures in the sleeve. It is soooo power metal! It has some very beautiful and awsome artwork in it of fierce battles with dragons and such, and they are graphic and intense! Inside the booklet they have a little fantasy story to read, which is a nice touch I think. And there is even of a map of the land! As for the pictures of the band members, they are the best I've seen! They are all dressed up in leather, and they're holding swords, with a really cool throne behind them. I don't know why other fantasy metal bands don't do that stuff very often, they could at least pose with swords in the pictures! Anyway if your a visual person like me, then you'll appreciate the album art at least.

As for the music, I bought it based on the 30 second clips. It was all I needed! The music is typical power metal, I think. It's medieval style fantasy, which I crave, and simply can't get enough of! I adore the "Village of the Dwarves!" And I don't understand why some people say that this type of music is cheesy! It certainly is not! It takes talent to write music like that, and a whole lot more imagination than it takes to write a regular, old, everyday, plain song! Just because it's medieval fantasy doesn't mean that it's cheesy! It just means that there is some very talented person out there that's thinking outside of the box. And as for the lead singer pronouncing some words wrong, believe me, you won't notice it unless your following along with the words very carefully (which I don't do very often).

The only thing that I don't like about this album is the guy that talks every once in a while. I don't know who he is, but he has a funny voice, and I think they should get a better voice actor to do that part, like Blind Guardian did for "Nightfall in Middle Earth."

But anyway, this album is worth it, and you should give it a go! Especially if you've never expirienced power metal! Because power metal is a great music genre, and it needs to be heard! And give Blind Guardian a try! I think they are the best band to start with!
