Epic and Agressive

I recently acquired all of Rhaposdy's full length releases (including Rain of a Thousand Flames) in less than a month's time span. I haven't had the time to listen to all of them as much as I'd like, but I can definitley say that this album is their best up to this point (I'm betting on Symphony of Enchanted Lands II eclisping even this album). It combines the best of their epic work from the first Symphony of Enchanted Lands and their debut with the aggresivness of Dawn of Victory.

For Blind Guardian fans, this is not a rip off the band at all. Blind Guardian relies more on complex guitar structures (and more complex story concepts) while Rhapsody relies on faster guitars, larger orchestrations, and sometimes cheesy story concepts (just a little, not even close enough to kill the album). I personally like BLind GUardian better, but Rhapsody are right up there in my favorites list as well.
