Going downhill fast!

I love Rhapsody's earlier work... but they've started to go downhill with the album "Rain of Thousand Flames". Their first 3 albums are great and they were good at what they were doing, that is strike a balance between metal elements and symphonic stuff. also the first 3 features little to no boring narrative passages. but in their last 3, the symphonic elements seem to have overtaken the metal/rock elements and this is not necessarily bad thing except that luca turilli/alex storapoli don't know how to make good music with this type. also there are lengthy boring narrations throughout the album, and the additional of christopher lee doesn't make anything better for a music fan cuz he doesn't sing nor do we care about his famed acting. if i want something with narrations that tell a story, i'd watch an epic movie, not put on a rhapsody album into my cd player. this is exactly what this album suffers from. though the music is still good, it seems to follow a formula and is too generic. the lengthy songs are too boring with too many irritating parts. this is definitely the last rhaposody album that i've bought and i'd still check out the new luca turilli solo album whenever it comes out just to complete the triology. otherwise i'm done with rhapsody and related work. rest in peace!
