Didn't think Rhapsody could get any better...

I have been a Rhapsody fan since "Dawn of Victory", and since then I have gotten into all their past and present work (my favorite being "Rain of a Thousand Flames"). Symphony of Enchanted Lands part 2: The Dark Secret has blown away all expectations I had. I was eagerly awaiting this album for about a year or so, waiting for what I knew was going to be an amazing album. But when I finally heard it, I realized I should of been MUCH more eager for it's release. This is one of the best symphonic metal masterpieces I have ever heard. Granted that may be a little bias coming from a huge Rhapsody fan, but oh well. Christopher Lee did a great job with the narrations and chior work, the orchestrations are incredible, Luca's new saga is enchanting and everything else about the album is simply amazing. My only complaint (if it is even considered a complaint) is now I have to wait another year for the conitunation of the epic! Any metal/fantasy/epic/music fan should definately give this album a spin. The album cover is worth the buy!
