Another great power metal album from Rhapsody
Review Score:

(10/10)
Rhapsody's style has been relatively consistent throughout their career, so fans of the band should know exactly what to expect on this release: bombastic, symphonic metal that's great fun if you don't mind the cheese. There is one huge difference, though: the unbelievably terrible narrator that Rhapsody has been using since the original "Symphony of Enchanted Lands" is finally gone, and he's been replaced with none other than Count Dracula himself, otherwise known as Christopher Lee. They couldn't have made a better choice. I cringed whenever that old narrator would make an appearance, but I can't help smiling when I hear the nonpareil Mr. Lee reading the same stuff.
To those who haven't heard Rhapsody before: You'll probably get into this if you enjoy symphonic metal and are willing to deal with bad lyrics with tired high fantasy themes. Similar bands include Kamelot, Angra, Sonata Arctica, Blind Guardian, and to a slightly lesser extent, Symphony X. If you're into any of those groups, give Rhapsody a chance and you shouldn't be disappointed.
