hey, all the guitarists out there!

for every guitarist (i mean serious ones), there comes a time when you sit and realize the sense of what you play and also of what you listen to. in my case, listening to this album made me think that you can do things great and bad at the same time. why? ok, the arrangments are awesome, the songs too. but Turilli's work sometimes is just... overplayed. for an example, on "land of inmortals" you can't understand a damn note of what he's playing. too much technique, too much velocity... very little sense or meaning into the solos. anyway, it's a very good album.
