Over the past few years, when record companies make Greatest Hits colections, there is always a song or two that seems to be missing from the picture. In the case of Rod Stewart, that seems to be the case right here. Although he has had a legandary career, the music seems to achieve only his solo stratus and not anything outside of it, that made him a legend. Still, the soulful Blues and Rock singer can't be denied as a fair legend in the game.

The 2001 Very Best Of Rod Stewart collection, consists of 16 of Rod's biggest songs over his past 30 years as a solo giant. The music still maintains as strong as it was released several years ago. There are so many great song on this collection including, Forever Young, Downtown Train, This Old Heart Of Mine, and Maggie May, to name a few. Of course, there really could've been more songs that could've been on this collection that really weren't like So Far Away, All For Love with Sting and Bryan Adams, I Can't Deny It, This, Leave Virginia Alone, and Infatuation could've been suggested for this collection in the process.

It is just a shame that so many Greatest Hits collections are always a miss. Still, if you want to get this collection that is fine. Otherwise, I suggest you get the Import version, which contains more of Rod Stewart greatest songs for the pleasure.
