I've been a fan of Rod Stewart for some time, but never owned a CD. This one had all the songs I wanted, but I'm very disappointed in the audio mix. The orchestral portion is way too overpowering. You struggle to hear Rod's lyrics. I know that I've heard the same cuts on the radio with far more clarity and better balance between the vocal and orchestral tracks. I wonder if anyone else has had the same experience? Aside from that, it's great Rod Stewart stuff.
