A crock classic

I just actually listened to "different stages"cd with a "Xanadu" and a Farewel to kings" on it.It made me cherish tis album once again.I have been a Rush fan since 1982,and this is one of their best albums.The title track begins with a melodious synthesize piece then turns to a hard rock intro.It is absolutely brilliant.The melodious intro holds more weight today than it did for me back in '82 when i listened to this.I think "Xanadu'" is arguaby one of the 10 best rock songs of all time(i mean all bands also)>It has everything.Great instrumental music,crankin bass guitar,melodic hard rock guitar,melodious synthesizers and intelligent lyrics.The combination and interplay of Geddy's bass and keyboards and Alex's guitar and neils drums and lyrics are probably reush's best song ever and the essence of their music.In addition "cinderella man has much of the same qualites though a shorter song,The album cover kicks but but buy this for "xanadu"and tell me it it is not one of the best rock songs ever.
