I didn't care much for Rush's '70s-work until I listened to this album. I think this is one of their most melodic, beautiful and consistent albums. "Closer to the Heart" is the best-known track on this album, but the rest is equally fine. The songs are more accessible than Rush's lengthy art-rock pieces on "2112" and "Hemispheres", and the sound on this remastered edition is very good. The lyrics on this album are really inspired and much more electrifying than on Rush's '90s-work. "A Farewell to Kings" is another timeless album (like "Moving Pictures") and shows Rush's virtues at their best.
