Saxon's 1995 cd re-released for 2001

This cd was originally released on the Mayhem label in the U.S. back in 1995. It had been discontinued up until now. Not as strong a cd as "Forever Free" or even "Solid Ball of Rock", which were both released in the early 90's but it shows Saxon is still one of the best of the NWOBHM bands to still be in existence. Songs like the title track "Dogs of War", "Big Twin Rolling", "The Great White Buffalo" and "Give it all Away" are evidence that this band hasn't lost any of it's punch in putting out great 80's sounding heavy metal. Pick this cd up before it becomes deleted again. Also worth buying is their live 2-cd set "The Eagle has Landed Part 2". In my opinion it is one of the best live cd's they've ever recorded! Highly recommended.
