Good album-not as down to earth as their early work

Personally speaking I would buy this album just for the song "The Preacher".The title track is a bit weak, but the majority of the songs are good. I have mixed opinions on Biffs voice though. Sometimes I think it suits the song perfectly and in other songs I think it just sounds like a high pitched whine-I'm talking about ALL Saxon albums, not just this one.I never understood why this band never became more popular in the US, pehaps it was all down to a bad PR strategy. Saxon were just as popular as Maiden in early 80's Britain.If anyone hasn't heard Saxon yet, I can say they are a bit similar to 70's Rush, but with a twin guitar sound , and less " arty" than Rush-most of their early stuff is good down to earth rock and roll.Love the album cover!Best albums by this band are "Wheels of Steel", "Strong Arm of the Law", "Denim and Leather", "Dogs of War"-but they're all pretty good!
