Why the hell did they even remaster those brilliant songs? I'm sick of all those re-masters comming out nowadays. Why not just re-release the original recordings like they were meant to be heard?!?!? don't really know what this 2 on 1 absurd cd version has to offer because I own the original copy of "bestial devastation" and let me tell you that the material here is way better than what they did later on. And yes it's raw sounding but so what? All the bands had rawer sound than the phonies of nowadays, check out early sodom or others and you'll know what I mean. The tracks are plain excellent pounding death/thrash with killer solos They deffinately had their own sound and were ahead of time but everything after this comes off as simply generic slayer-competition.
