Sepultura are extremely talented. Max's growling, Igor's rapid-fire tribal-sounding drumming, and the lead guitar and bass work is nothing short of unbelievable. It's funny, because the singles "Territory," and "Refuse/Resist," are not the best songs on the CD. I prefer the thrashier songs, like "Slave New World," "Biotech Is Godzilla,"(spare the name) and "Manifest". However, the best song on the CD is definitely "Nomad," for its blend of heavyness and intrigue. The song isn't too fast, but it is played in a way that makes you want to mosh like crazy. "Kaiowas" is an awesome instrumental, and the Tribal Jam version(track 14) adds some cooler jungle elements to it. "The Hunt" is also a ripping track, and they add this effect/noise into it that makes it sound deep and menacing. Wicked! Also, the last track, the live one, just rocks! The second half of the song is ultra-heavy and super-fast, and in the middle, Max starts talking to the crowd and cursing off. It rocks! It's hard to not try and compare it to Arise and say, 'Oh, but Arise was SOOOO much faster and this is where they sold out...'. I think that's pretty wrong. This CD kicks, man!
