Just right

This a brilliant album. It is better than ROOTS, which had a few amazing tracks and then became increasingly predictable. Not that it isn't a great album, but this is better. The sheer power of CHAOS AD and the potent fury it creates as well as the violent storm it kicks up is overwhelming. It is just right . . . the bridge between the old thrash/death stuff they had in the earlier days and the more accessible tribal-metal/hardcore style they veered over into after this album.

This album still has the speed, but has more rhythmic diversity than before. The lyrics are also more political - less about carnage and stuff, y'know . . .

It is also more individual than their earlier stuff and packed with metal-monsters like REFUSE/RESIST, TERRITORY, SLAVE NEW WORLD and BIOTECH IS GODZILLA. I love their earlier stuff though. Please don't get me wrong. In some ways I think I prefer it. But this album is amazing.
