A classic but not my fav

Presumably Kel Brigance has never heard of Faith No More. Just about every nu metal band are a bad FNM rip-off (inc Korn), however Sepultura are one of the originals - and for good reasons. However, without getting too involved, I'd say Chaos AD, for me, is a stronger album, and showcases more what Sep were all about in those days. I also prefer their new album (Nation) over Roots, coz as a comparison to early Sep, it is a big turn in direction, just as Roots is, but appeals more to me. If that made sense. The great thing about Roots is, it's not all just riffs, shouting and fast drums, no no, it takes many more listens to get into the interesting and dark world the album creates. Certainly a major influence on the scene today, but not one of the biggest.
