SEPULTURA--DECENDENTS OF 'MARS' THE GOD OF WAR.This album 'Roots' has been aptly titled for it displays the bands deeprooted attatchment to the interiors of BRAZIL.Be it their perspective or be it their desire- what they see is what they seek and what they seek is what we listen to. This album proves that SEPULTURA is not just another thrashing band that is set out to play pure conventional metal to please the crowd but is a band that has a very personal perspective of the happenings around it.They express the frustration, the wrath, the participations in the livelihood not far from them not to sell another album but to share that perspective. Uninhibited, unabashed, unleashed...SEPULTURA plays on to leave yet another dimension for its fans to explore.Call it tribal, call it trash metal there is more than that.......We're all the decendents of cave men and the same instinct lies somewhere in each one of us.That's what SEPULTURA is about and quite a few of us conciously relate to it.ROOTS is a MUST.
