Yeah man!!!The Sex Pistols...from the mean streets of London circa 1976 came the Pistols.Malcom Mclaren used hype and controversy to turn these guys into a national sensation but in the end it was the music that made the difference.Borrowing from the sounds of the Stooges,the New York Dolls and the atmosphere of the times,they created what would go on to influence generations to come.
Who would have thought that songs about abortion,S&M,anarchy and the queen set to a driving sound straight from hell could be so incredible...bring rock and roll back to the basics.God Save the Queen,Anarchy in the UK,Submission - every song is great!Forget everything you hear today,....all the real rock and roll fans know the real thing when they hear it - the Pistols took their place in history ...Long live Johnny Rotten!!
