There's something about these guys

I would like to draw your attention to a previous review by Lord Chimp. This guy hit every nail squarely on the head in my opinion. I too am not a huge fan of Power/Progressive Metal, though to say I hate it would be completely wrong.

I will say this. On the same playlist with SA are The Crown, The Haunted, Darkane, NOFX and Wumpscut. Do the math.

For a long time I have counted only Blind Guardian as my favorite power metal band, and the only group of that genre that I was truly a fan of.

Sonata Arctica is now another.
