T.I.'s albums are kind of like an acquired taste. You hear his southern drawl and his somewhat simple subject matter and might get an immediate dislike, but after listening a few times, you see not just the songs that you like originally, you realize he does drop knowledge "See 'No more talk' from Trap Muzik'" but a few bangers that you didint think you would like. This album is no exception. Overall his flow sounds crisp as ever as TIP gets at his haters and takes subliminals at more than a few rappers (Flip, Luda). He jumps from a prothela of producers with ease and collaborates with the guests smoothly for the most part. "Get loose" has already became a strip club anthem in the south, last time i was at the Mint in Mia they was spinnin it. If u dont know what the mint is, dont worry bout it. As far as the haters saying "face is king of the south" and "flip would kill that [...]", please see the down with the king mixtape. Scarface says he has no problem with TI clamin to be the king of the south, and he even talks to [...] from SUCKAFREE (flips old running crew) and they say he aint no gangsta. It must be bad when u got people from your own city dissing you to the enemy, but too bad for flip. Id say this album does not break any ground for subject matter, it does have a little diversity a la "Im Serious", maybee not quite as good as TRAP MUZIK, but other than the Youngbuck album, this is the best album by a southern rapper that came out in 2004.
